Penalties
Lionel Messi is the GOAT – or at least according to anyone outside of Portugal or Madrid and it seems that there’s pretty much nothing he can’t do – apart from score penalties it seems, and after missing for Barcelona in their La Liga game this weekend, Real Madrid fans were quick to point that out.
However, Barcelona fans themselves had another point to make, especially after he hit the woodwork a couple of times as well and it seemed he wasn’t destined to score – and they all thought that it was just because he wanted to break Gerd Muller’s record at the Bernabeu in the Clasico next weekend and show who the GOAT is once and for all.
Ronaldo also managed to come in for some stick, despite being away winning the Club World Cup with Real Madrid, and the tie between the two La Liga giants is set to be scintillating next weekend, with Real Madrid aware they have to win the game to put some life back into the La Liga title race – and Barcelona knowing that a win would see them secure the position as title favourites and winter champions – and assert some dominance over their rivals as well.

Leo not scoring isn’t the worst thing in the world. He’ll now enter El Clásico very hungry, added incentives to it being Madrid, at Bernabeu & the game to secure the league.
